Certified Medication Aide

As a Certified Medication Aide at Griswold Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to administer daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medication to residents in a safe and timely manner
- Monitor residents for any changes or adverse reactions to medication
- Collect and record medication administration data
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Active and in good standing Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of practice
- Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide in a long-term care setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
