Operating Room First Assistant RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a First Assistant in the Operating Room at Mercy Hospital Washington.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles.
- Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years intraoperative experience with documentation of proficiency in perioperative nursing practice as a scrub and circulating nurse.
- Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. BLS/ACLS required within first year.
- Preferred Education: BSN Preferred
- Experience: Three (3) or more years intraoperative experience
- Preferred Certifications: CNOR, CRNFA
- Up to $20,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs
