Join Our Team as a Lead Engineer

Our mission includes training the Sailors who operate these reactors in the U.S. Navy's submarines and aircraft carrier fleets.
The Fleet Simulator Training unit (FST) plays a crucial role in the operations, maintenance, and training associated with all fleet simulators. This unit oversees naval training at various Fleet Interactive Display Equipment (FIDE) and Virtual IDEs across multiple locations.
We are currently seeking a Platform Lead for a surface class. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution with a minimum of nine years of relevant experience; or
- A Master's degree in Engineering or a related science field with at least seven years of relevant experience; or
- Current or previous qualifications as a Shift Supervisor Part II or SIT, along with three years as EOOW in the Nuclear Operations Program.
Additionally, candidates should have:
- Experience in IDE operations, testing, and configuration control.
- Proven ability in team building and leadership.
- Experience collaborating effectively with subcontractors and facility engineers.
- Strong communication skills for providing feedback during audits.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
