Job Title: Physician - Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician - Anesthesiologist to join our team at The Arora Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional anesthesia care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Physician - Anesthesiologist will be responsible for providing routine and emergent anesthesia care for neonatal through geriatric patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classifications I-VI. This includes performing routine preoperative evaluations, providing contemporary regional and general anesthesia care, and assisting nurse anesthetists with anesthesia administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine and emergent anesthesia care for patients with ASA classifications I-VI
  • Perform routine preoperative evaluations and provide contemporary regional and general anesthesia care
  • Assist nurse anesthetists with anesthesia administration and administer anesthesia to patients with complex medical conditions
  • Implement proper use of mechanical ventilators in the recovery room and intensive care units
  • Provide consultation regarding preoperative preparation, intra and postoperative anesthetic management, and treatment of chronic pain patients
  • Perform administrative duties, including completion of reports, records, and quality assurance reviews
Requirements:
  • Active medical license from Texas
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited graduate school of Medicine
  • Board eligible or Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
  • Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration/Certificate
  • Meet all licensing/certification requirements to perform as an Anesthesiologist
  • Minimum of one year of experience actively practicing as a full-time Board Eligible or Board Certified Physician certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and ACLS certification prior to beginning contract services
