Key Responsibilities- Provide medical oversight and leadership to the center, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high medical standards.
- Monitor medical compliance of the center, including adherence to CLIA and cGMP regulations.
- Train and evaluate Medical Staff Associates, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for certification.
- Conduct confidential and effective interviews with donors to obtain information in various situations.
- Review and sign medical incident reports, ensuring the health and safety of donors.
- Oversee maintenance of medical supplies and emergency equipment.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure the center meets quality standards.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
- Current and active medical license in the state where the center is located.
- One year of residency training as an MD or OD.
- Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and company Plasma Operating Procedures.
The Medical Director/Center Physician will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens. They will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas. Overnight travel will be required up to 75% of the time without lengthy lead-time.
