Job Summary:

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN Endoscopy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in our procedure room.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
  • Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments.
  • May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing, which include serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Associates of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) or above required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
  • Current registered nurse licensure in State of employment.
  • BLS / ACLS Certified, as applicable.
  • CPAN, CAPA, and / or CNOR, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of endoscopy nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting, preferred.
