Position Highlights:
*Advise the Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Food Service Director on all clinical nutrition care aspects, adhering to all standards set by relevant regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
*Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create tailored nutrition care plans for residents and patients.
*Monitor and assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
*Ensure timely and accurate documentation of nutrition assessments, recommended actions, and follow-ups.
*Address nutrition-related concerns with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
*Provide dietary education and guidance for residents, families, and caregivers.
*Oversee all facets of the nutrition care delivery process to guarantee clinical excellence.

Qualifications:
*Registered and/or licensed Dietitian as mandated by the state of employment. Previous experience in a healthcare environment or as a consulting dietitian is preferred. Experience with the geriatric population is also preferred.
