About the Role:

The Healthcare Nutritionist will provide expert nutrition education, counseling, and therapy to patients, residents, and clients in their specific department or area of accountability. This includes assessment, development, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of nutrition care plans. The ideal candidate will also identify, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate educational programs to patients, healthcare providers, and the community. As an integral part of the collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare team, the Nutrition Expert will serve as a nutrition resource for the patient, healthcare team, and community, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide education, counseling, and Medical Nutrition therapy to patients, residents, and clients
* Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for patients, healthcare providers, and the community
* Serve as a nutrition resource for the patient, healthcare team, and community
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality nutrition care

Requirements:

* 4-year/bachelor's degree in a related field
* BLS Certification
* Commission on Dietetic Registration Registered Dietitian
* Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist-Pennsylvania
* Eligible for PA Licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Dietitian-Nutritionist Licensure is required within 120 days of employment
* Certified Personal Trainer through NASM if applicable
