Job Overview

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing quality standards across all production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and track quality metrics to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Analyze quality trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for improvement and potential failure points.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Engineering and Production teams, to implement process enhancements and corrective actions.
  • Oversee customer interactions related to quality during regular business assessments and during any corrective action reviews.
  • Assist the Quality Manager in conducting internal and external audits to guarantee adherence to regulatory, ISO, and customer standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the quality team, particularly in setting daily priorities and tracking milestones.
  • Contribute to the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives and future operational strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality role.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement quality improvements using standardized methodologies such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, including new product development, manufacturing, delivery, and warranty management.
  • Strong ownership, ability to work in a cross-functional environment, and effective workload prioritization.
  • Experience with mobile device technology, configuration, and repair is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Formal training and certifications are a plus (e.g., ISO Internal Auditor, Six Sigma, ASQ, Shainin).
