Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Minister to join our team at 803 St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton, NC.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive youth ministry program that engages and empowers young people to serve others.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Create and deliver engaging programs for middle school, high school, and young adult youth, including Core Group development, leadership skills training, and retreat planning.
  • Leadership and Training: Develop leadership skills in youth and young adults, provide training for catechists and adult volunteers, and oversee the confirmation program.
  • Communication and Administration: Maintain open communication with parents, coordinate fundraisers, manage office and program records, and publicize programs through social media and parish bulletin.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate all aspects of the parish's ministry to youth, set annual goals and objectives, and initiate procedures for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field (preferred but not necessary)
  • Youth Ministry experience in a Catholic parish
  • Active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community
  • Bilingual is a plus (especially in a culturally diverse parish like St. Ann)

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
