Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Blending Supervisor to join our team at Lube-Tech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating day-to-day blending and large container production activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee activities in the blending and large packaging areas to meet production goals, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate the flow of materials through the blending department, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Participate in plant continuous improvement activities and processes.
  • Ensure product quality through Blend Specification, Finished Parts Documents, and other controls.
  • Maintain hourly and temporary direct labor time management within Ascentek time clock software.
  • Maintain plant cleanliness such that customer tours can be a positive marketing experience.
  • Assist in the planning and administration of policies and procedures.
  • Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or some college (Preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience blending materials using precise measurements and methods.
  • Forklift Operation Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ISO and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Understanding of Lean Principles.
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Work Environment

Work performed in a warehouse environment and in extreme heat (>80 degrees) during summer months as well as outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat during summer months.

May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another, during the production process.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - safety eye glasses and safety steel-toe shoes are required for this position.
