Job Title: Regional Technical Placement Specialist

MarketSource is seeking a highly skilled Regional Technical Placement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for partnering with our clients to implement and maintain effective technician recruiting programs at our target dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with regional teams and targeted dealerships to drive results
  • Partner with regional teams and target dealerships to assess their technician needs and develop individual career plans
  • Educate dealerships on best practices for developing a continuous technician pipeline, reducing turnover, and increasing customer retention
  • Gain Dealer Executive Management commitment to the program and process
  • Coordinate and participate in student recruiting events and career fairs
  • Represent the client in school contracts, agreements, vehicle donations, and marketing materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current Tech/Vocational schools and local middle/high schools
  • Partner with MarketSource internal teams to create and deliver effective technician candidate sourcing at the Dealership level
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years' experience in an educational environment with a focus on recruiting and mentoring students or supervisory experience in automotive maintenance or repair
  • 75% travel (2-3 weeks per month)
