Job Summary

Vertex Resource Group Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Class A CDL truck drivers to join our team. As a Class A CDL truck driver with Vertex, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment and transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Participate in safety programs and ensure adherence to company and customer policies and procedures
  • Attend and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings, hazard assessment development, pre-trips, and post-trips
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers, contractors, and customers to achieve common goals
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and rules
  • Perform basic maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement
  • Valid passport (considered an asset)
  • Clean driving record
  • Preference given to those with 2 years' experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
  • Ability to operate Tri-Axle units and Semi-Truck/Double Bottom Trucks
  • Active Passport preferred
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
  • Capable of performing physical duties (lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching)
