Job Overview

The Production Stage Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for communication and resolution of issues between the studio and clients. This role is essential in ensuring that all production requirements are addressed promptly and effectively, fostering a sense of trust and reliability among clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage stage operations, including support for office and facility areas.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any facility-related issues, reporting findings to the studio leadership.
  • Assist in resolving challenges arising from client production needs and their interaction with studio resources.
  • Educate clients on compliance with studio policies, governmental regulations, fire safety standards, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Collect and relay information necessary for other studio departments to meet client demands.
  • Collaborate with various studio departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
  • Conduct daily inspections of stages and maintain accurate client documentation for administrative purposes.
  • Manage the logistics of tenant transitions in and out of stages and support areas, documenting conditions upon arrival and departure.
  • Act as the liaison for fire safety regulations, ensuring proper maintenance and placement of fire extinguishing equipment.
  • Coordinate hazardous materials collection and waste disposal in conjunction with studio and client needs.
  • Supervise vendor teams responsible for relocating studio furnishings.
  • Support the Vice President of Studio Construction & Engineering with facility management, emergency response, and safety initiatives.
  • Assist with incoming calls and direct them appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, meeting studio insurance criteria for operating equipment.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification, fire safety certification, and hazmat training (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Completion of OSHA training.
  • Capability to work autonomously with a high level of accuracy, reliability, and productivity, exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Proven ability to devise innovative solutions to challenges, analyze situations, and implement timely action plans.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and tactfully.
  • Proficiency in technology and office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in production or studio management roles.
