Job Title: Senior Information Technology Engineer

Job Summary:

Gotion Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Technology Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices to protect our network perimeter.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats, including malware, intrusion attempts, and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Implement and manage data encryption, backup, and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide technical support and training to employees regarding network, deskside, and security issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support overall IT initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and security administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
  • Experience with security technologies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and data encryption.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud security and managing cloud-based network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
