POSITION SUMMARY:

A Culinary Service Associate is tasked with the vital role of transporting food from the kitchen to patrons within the restaurant. They ensure that each guest receives their correct order promptly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and engaging attitude, addressing any special requests or needs.
  • Deliver food orders throughout the dining area.
  • Continuously replenish glassware, flatware, and napkins in all necessary locations.
  • Transport full bus trays to the dishwashing area and replace them with empty trays in service stations.
  • Organize dishes in the dish area to facilitate efficient cleaning.
  • Empty trash receptacles in the dining area as required.
  • Complete side work before, during, and after shifts as necessary.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work station.
  • Support fellow team members and management as needed.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor in appearance, language, and attitude.
  • Adhere to the uniform policy by purchasing and wearing the designated attire.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
  • Walking through dining areas on both carpeted and hardwood floors.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be necessary.
  • This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and may involve irregular hours, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
