The Talent One Services team is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Specialist to join our pharmacy department.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies to both inpatients and outpatient clients. This role plays a critical part in patient care, ensuring medications are accurately prepared, verified, and dispensed in a timely manner.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary range for this position is $126,464 - $187,158.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients, adhering to all regulatory and safety guidelines.
  • Review and interpret physician orders, ensuring correct medication and dosage.
  • Provide information and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the best pharmacological care is delivered.
  • Maintain and update pharmacy records as required by law and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Registered Pharmacist (NYS) license are required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred for managing digital records and ordering systems.
