Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Specialist to join our team at Veracity. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a hospital setting and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication dispensing practices, as well as excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
* Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients.
* Order Verification: Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with established protocols.
* Patient Counseling: Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
* Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
* Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing practices.

Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
* Licensure: Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in New York State.
* Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
* Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication dispensing practices.
+ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Computer proficiency.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
