Program Planner

We are seeking an experienced Program Planner to support our Commercial Civil Space (CCS) line of business. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules that accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
  • Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develop recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
  • Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored, and statused.
  • Prepare and coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.
  • Interface with program management, senior management, and the customer as the program's planning integrator.
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
  • Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of previous planning/scheduling experience.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Ability to perform critical path and risk analyses.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program.
  • Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process.
  • Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule.
  • Prior team lead experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team.
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance.
  • Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities.
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations.
  • Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints.
