Job Summary

Community Health Partnership of Illinois is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during examination and treatment of patients, perform administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments, maintaining patient comfort, and ensuring a clean environment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays, and perform laboratory procedures such as making impressions of patients' teeth
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized care
  • Schedule patient appointments, handle billing and insurance claims, and maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, with knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • X-ray certification is a plus, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
