Requirements
  • Current Dental Hygienist License: We require a current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent Working Knowledge: You should have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification: We require CPR certification to ensure our team members are equipped to handle emergency situations.
Preferred Experience
  • New Grads Welcome: We encourage new graduates to apply and provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Experience with Velscope and Diagnodent: We prefer candidates with experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to Learn and Grow: We seek candidates who are eager to continue learning and growing their clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Perform Essential Duties: You should be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, and we are committed to making reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
  • Prolonged Sitting and Standing: The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and you should be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
