Key Responsibilities
  • Assist sales managers in responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate group and wedding business, including contacting and following up with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work with sales personnel to achieve sales team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Assist with completing sales reports and developing effective communication and information systems with the hotel team.
  • Represent the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational secretarial experience preferred.
  • Previous sales, hospitality, and secretarial experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word applications, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and hotel staff.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and letters, as well as use computers and other office equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
