POSITION SUMMARY


The Market President is accountable for the effective management and daily operations of full-service branch offices within a designated geographic area.

This role is instrumental in promoting the bank's offerings and services that align with the overall objectives of Centennial Bank.

The Market President serves as the community representative for specific regions, engaging in initiatives that foster goodwill.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee retail banking, lending, and business development teams within the assigned market.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve market, regional, and corporate goals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and guide a proficient support team of retail personnel.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and protocols.
  • Ensure all operational tasks are executed accurately and promptly.
  • May engage in the origination, processing, and closing of various consumer and commercial loan products.
  • Tasked with maintaining and expanding business within the market.
  • Participate actively in civic and community organizations.
  • Oversee compliance within the market.
  • Conduct regular market meetings.
  • Responsible for the timely execution of annual performance evaluations and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a secure and professional business atmosphere.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

  • Engage in regular SWOT analysis to secure competitive advantages.
  • May participate in corporate committees that enhance the holding company.
  • Prepare and present market results and/or focus group findings to executive management, advisory boards, or the Board of Directors.
  • Supervise measures to prevent financial loss.
  • Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as mandated, performed annually.
  • Involved in market-specific decisions regarding donations, sponsorships, local bidding, and RFPs.
  • Provide public education and other community-related services.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate in a safe manner.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To successfully fulfill this role, an individual must effectively execute each essential duty outlined above.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Comprehensive knowledge in areas such as accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance.

Equivalent to a four-year college degree, along with 9 to 10 years of relevant experience and/or training, including 9 to 10 years of management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Ability to read, analyze, and comprehend common scientific and technical literature, financial statements, and legal documents; Ability to address complex inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory bodies, or members of the business community.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to compute figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS


Ability to resolve practical issues and navigate a variety of known variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats.
