Position: Electrical Engineer

Overview:

Providing electrical and control systems support for various projects and equipment.

Work Schedule: Day shift, as required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Engineering team (product, project, process, plant engineering) with electrical and control systems engineering.
  • Provide electrical support for setup (AMS/Programming).
  • Lead automation initiatives (line optimization/Continuous Improvement).
  • Hands-on assistance for upcoming projects (welding, automation, controls, etc.).
  • Support troubleshooting of electrical issues on current equipment/projects.
  • Propose control system upgrade projects to enhance production efficiency.
  • Identify, address, and escalate issues that may affect project goals.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Experience in electrical fieldwork and managing electrical contractors is preferred.

  • Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Experience with PLC/Programming.
  • Familiarity with AMS.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for extended periods. Capable of using small tools and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: Manufacturing and mill settings, with occasional office work (Travel may be required, typically around 10%).
