  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other support staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Assist individuals with goal setting, planning, and implementation of their individualized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as crisis intervention, behavioral support, and person-centered planning.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a seamless and effective delivery of services, including coordination of transportation, medical appointments, and other activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and communication.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
