Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Assembling, designing, and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
  • Fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
  • Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and machine components.
  • Performing basic administrative skills, including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Industrial maintenance and/or military experience.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics.
  • Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly rate of $33.00/hr with a grow-in rate up to $44.20/hr, as well as a $5,000 sign-on bonus for candidates within 50 miles and a $10,000 relocation bonus for candidates outside of 50 miles.
