Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. You will be working on a variety of equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex issues. Responsibilities

As a Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repairing complex issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Assembling, designing, and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems
  • Fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts
  • Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment
  • Performing basic administrative skills, including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Industrial maintenance and/or military experience
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics
  • Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
