Barista

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Elixir & Bean, LLC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of coffee drinks, preparing and cooking food, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a selection of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages and alcoholic drinks, according to our recipes and customer preferences.
• Food Preparation: Cook and prepare a selection of food items, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Advertising: Participate in promoting our coffee shop through social media and other advertising channels.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning coffee machines, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including those related to the serving of alcohol.

• Age: Must be at least 20 years old.
• Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for coffee and food.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, take steps up and down, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
• Availability: Must be available to work assigned hours.
• Work Ethic: A reliable and punctual work ethic, with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
