Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG). As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services at a long-term care facility.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $30 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. At HCSG, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits such as free telemedicine, prescription discount programs, and employee assistance programs.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans. You will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress, provide nutrition education and counseling, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
  • Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
