### Key Responsibilities

* Conduct independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
* Perform preliminary report writing and review
* Review project plans and specifications prepared by others
* Attend client site meetings
* Communicate effectively with client and project teams
* Work on one or multiple projects at a time
* Train Technicians
* May manage projects, oversee technicians, and review field and lab data

### Requirements

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering/ABET school
* Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Degree highly preferred
* 2 to 4 years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience highly preferred
* EIT required
* Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal and written communication
* Ability to periodically work off shifts and overtime
* May travel occasionally
* Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required

### Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently
* Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
* Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
* Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
* Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
* Ability to climb and work at heights occasionally
