Job Summary

As a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary health care to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating various conditions, while also participating in quality assurance programs and utilization management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the development of quality assurance programs and utilization management protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of operational and capital budgets, as well as participate in operational assessments to identify revenue enhancement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner Degree Emphasis.
  • South Carolina Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Prescriptive Authority South Carolina Nursing License.
  • South Carolina Controlled Substance license; Federal DEA license.
