Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and security incidents
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and other security-related issues
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent security breaches and protect company assets
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies to investigate and resolve security incidents
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in loss prevention or security in an industrial environment
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Access databases
  • Valid Texas driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Pass a motor vehicle record check and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak Spanish
