Job Description

The American Honda Motor Co. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Management System Development Lead to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of quality management systems within the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement quality management systems that align with industry standards and regulations, including AS9100 compliance.
  2. Oversee the Business Unit's quality management system to ensure compliance with Honda quality standards and government regulations.
  3. Build consensus among business unit members to drive quality initiatives and best practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and monitor quality objectives, lead root cause analysis investigations, and contribute to the overall quality strategy.
  5. Champion a culture of quality excellence throughout the Business Unit.
  6. Provide technical leadership to department staff by developing, supporting, and coaching members on quality management systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in a technical field, preferably with a focus on quality management systems;
  • AS9100/ISO9000 quality system certification experience is desirable;
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Black Belt certification is preferred;
  • Strong knowledge of risk management tools, such as FMEA and risk cubes;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
