Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waltonen Engineering, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general building and vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring our facilities are safe and functional. This includes handling deliveries and pickups, maintaining grounds and outdoor areas, and engaging in general labor and construction tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and vehicles
  • Handle deliveries and pickups efficiently
  • Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including landscaping and minor repairs
  • Engage in general labor and construction tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with various departments within the shop to support their operations
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for transportation needs
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and work with mechanical systems
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
  • Enjoys working with hands and solving practical problems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workloads
  • Prepared to work overtime when necessary, adjusting hours based on project demands
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to a manufacturing or build environment
  • Familiarity with operating shop machinery is highly advantageous
  • Interest in learning a trade such as welding, machining, fixture building, or quality assurance
