Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at United Group of Companies, Inc. in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties, completing work orders, and ensuring the quality of work performed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize maintenance work to be performed on assigned site
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
  • Complete daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
  • Complete maintenance work orders as assigned
  • Ensure quality of work duties performed
  • Notify Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of all problems and potential issues of concern
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines
  • Perform necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings of the property assigned
  • Handle emergency situations that may arise and communicate all details of the incident to the Property Manager
  • General maintenance experience to include painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, etc.
  • Will be available for after hours on-call as necessary
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in residential property management, preferred experience in active/independent adult (55+) market
  • Forklift experience/knowledge preferred yet not required - training available at property
  • HVAC or related Maintenance certifications preferred, yet not required
