Capacity and Performance Management:

Regularly assess system capacity, reliability, and performance, proposing hardware and software solutions to meet the strategic and operational needs of product development teams. Training and Support:

Facilitate training for new users on technology applications, such as Creo Parametric and Windchill PDMLink. Contribute to the CAEPS support team by developing and presenting internal workshops and evaluating external training resources to recommend suitable alternatives.

Liaison and Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between Engineering Technical Services (ETS) and The Toro Company Engineering departments and the IT department. Engage with user groups from other companies utilizing similar hardware and software to stay updated on industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders of engineering data, including publications, plants, purchasing, service, and advance planning, to enhance productivity in information transfer.

Engineering Support:

Work closely with product development teams to provide engineering insights, including analysis, problem-solving strategies, and leveraging past experiences. Conduct field visits as necessary to comprehend customer requirements and deliver solutions.

Fiscal Responsibility:

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in procuring equipment and supplies, providing recommendations for future expenditures to department leadership.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent CAD/CAM experience required (Engineering Specialist III) with 7+ years of experience (Engineering Specialist IV).

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to create clear, concise business correspondence and relay accurate information to management. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required.

Additional Components:
Commitment to user productivity and customer service is vital. Some after-hours work may be necessary to ensure maximum uptime during peak hours. Occasional travel may be required for remote sites, plants, customers, and user group meetings.
