Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled US-Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Equiliem. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Train and coach project owners on lean and statistical tools, approaches, and techniques.
  • Evaluate and recommend best solutions to complex problems, considering economic return and compatibility with plant facilities.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues, performing methods studies to determine optimal processes.
  • Support welding processes and fixturing, identifying new equipment and manufacturing technologies to enhance operations.
  • Develop and document operational procedures, manufacturing routings, and production standards.
  • Implement cost reduction projects using lean manufacturing principles, such as kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Administer and lead the Management of Change process for product and process launches.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience supporting operations/production.
  • Minimum 2 years of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include a degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, Six Sigma green belt/black belt, and experience using SAP systems.
