Physician - Gastroenterologist Hospitalist - Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, OK

Mercy Gastroenterology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to join our GI Hospitalist team at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City.
Key Highlights- 26 weeks of work per year with a 7-on/7-off block schedule, promoting work-life balance in a busy specialty
- Inpatient and ER coverage only, with an average of 5-6 inpatient consults per day and associated procedures
- Capacity for elective cases not required
- Part of Mercy's NEW Center of Excellence for Digestive Diseases
- Hospitalist team (Employed, Internal Medicine) will admit patients, and the GI Hospitalist will consult and serve as primary for new consults and calls
- In-house during the day and on-call at night
- Support from a large, comprehensive team of physicians, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, general and interventional GI, IBD specialist, colon and rectal surgeon, general surgeons, and more
