Respiratory Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care to patients with respiratory disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients who have difficulty breathing.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Meet with and examine patients who have pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications.
  • Conduct, perform, and analyze diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capability.
  • Treat patients with aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy.
  • Evaluate progress of treatment.
  • Administer inhalants.
  • Document care by updating charts and records.
  • Operate mechanical ventilators and other machines.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an AMA Accredited Respiratory Therapy program and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) Respiratory Therapist.
  • Must be a licensed RRT or CRT.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
  • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
