This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plans.
- Provide direct patient care, coordinate care with other healthcare team members, and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes, and revise plans as needed.
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
This position is located at Great Plains Health, a medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care in a team-based setting.
