Job Overview

The Food Service Attendant plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving food items. Responsibilities may differ based on the specific requirements of the location and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

? Warmly welcomes and assists all patrons
? Processes food orders and serves customers
? Prepares and assembles food items following established recipes and guidelines
? Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety regulations
? Organizes work areas including preparation stations, service counters, and food warmers
? Cleans and sanitizes work areas after service
? Delivers food to guests while ensuring satisfaction and anticipating their needs
? Restocks food items to maintain adequate supply levels
? Upholds high standards of service, demonstrating a friendly and efficient demeanor towards guests, clients, and colleagues
? Follows safety policies and procedures, particularly regarding food handling and sanitation
? Safeguards company assets
? Operates a cash register and processes payments from customers
? Balances cash register with sales and inventory
? Complies with alcohol service policies
? Performs additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

? Previous experience in food service is preferred
? Ability to obtain food safety certification
? Demonstrates strong guest service abilities
? Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs.
? Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service
? May need to acquire TIPS/TEAM certification for alcohol service
? Completion of Serve Safe Food Handlers certification may be required
? Experience in guest service is advantageous
? Ideal candidates should be flexible with their availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
