Barista - Part-Time

As a Barista at Barnes & Noble, you will provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their experience is top-notch. You will be passionate about coffee, creating inspiring drinks, and knowledgeable about our caf offerings. Your ability to engage, build rapport, and provide friendly, fast service will make every customer interaction a pleasure. You will work collaboratively with the team to support the cluster structure and contribute to the success of all stores in the cluster.

• Work on the caf floor, requiring physical activity, and sales floor when needed.
• Deliver exceptional beverages that exceed customer expectations through tailored order creation and engaging customer interactions.
• Make relevant beverage and food recommendations to create an engaging experience for customers.
• Maintain a welcoming environment by ensuring a stocked bake case and neatly displayed merchandise.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy environment, prioritizing cleanliness as a key aspect of the customer experience.
• Execute operational standards correctly, in a timely manner, and in accordance with caf standards, safety, and health codes.
• Protect company assets by adhering to processes and working efficiently to control waste and shrink.
• Recognize and offer assistance to customers and employees with urgency and care.
