Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, program, and troubleshoot automation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Control Logic Development: Develop and configure control logic, leveraging PLC Ladder Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • System Integration: Integrate and optimize third-party components and systems to ensure seamless automation processes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure solutions meet requirements and timelines.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve ABB's automation solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in automation controls engineering, with a strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and VFDs.
  • Skills: Hands-on expertise in process control and system integration, familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
