Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team at VC3. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing new clients into our services accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough onsite and remote discovery and documentation of new client networks
  • Assist with training and mentoring teammates
  • Verify tools and internal processes have been deployed and configured to standards
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of client environments and ensure accurate communication to internal teams
  • Drive efficiencies and update the new client onboarding process
  • Responsible for offboarding VC3 tools and services from departing clients
  • Analyze client technical environments for alignment with documented best practices and standards
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to review network reports and ensure client technology direction is aligned with standards and business objectives
Requirements
  • At least 1 year experience at VC3 in IT Systems Engineer role or equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years in relevant analytical roles or technical support roles
  • Two industry-standard certifications: A+, Net+, Security+ and Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, Sonicwall, or similar
  • At least 3 years experience in managing and working with Windows Server, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Cloud environments, LAN/WAN Technologies, AntiVirus/EDR and Security Platforms, Virtualization Technologies, RMM Reporting and Scripting, PowerShell/Batch File Scripting
  • Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in VC3 alignment and onboarding processes including best practices and resolution paths
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience

  • Travel is expected up to 50% of the time
