As a highly skilled and experienced technician, you will be responsible for compounding, packaging, and labeling sterile preparations in accordance with USP regulations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Responsibilities- Compounding, packaging, and labeling of sterile preparations in accordance with USP regulations
- Accurately prepares complex sterile admixtures using proper aseptic technique
- Delivers medications in a timely and efficient manner
- Transitions of Care Pharmacy Technician
- Promotes patient safety through accurate medication history intake
- Provides complete information regarding each medication identified
- At least 5 years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 20-hour ACPE accredited IV training course
- Chemotherapy certification course
- Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Technician
- National Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
