Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish a strong rapport with clients and gather information about their mental health, trauma, social, legal, family, psychiatric, and medical history.
  • Conduct a thorough mental health assessment of each client.
  • Complete all necessary client reporting requirements and documentation in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a resource to other clinicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of program policies and procedures to assist others in resolving issues within their scope of authority.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, including assessment for inpatient hospitalization.
  • Lead group and individual therapy sessions using an approved curriculum or therapeutic treatment model.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as required.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this role. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling, with a strong background in assessment and treatment of community mental health. Licensed candidates with supervisory experience are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent active listening skills, a strong understanding of the DSM-IV framework, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Certification or License Required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor preferred.
