Position: Quality Control Inspector
Role Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of manufactured components using advanced visual measurement systems, including Keyence devices, as well as traditional tools such as comparators, calipers, micrometers, and pin gages. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize visual measuring systems and precision instruments to accurately assess and verify component specifications.
- Perform calibration of measurement tools to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Support ISO audit processes and uphold adherence to quality standards.
- Document inspection findings meticulously and maintain comprehensive records of all quality checks.
- Identify, report, and address any discrepancies or non-conformities in products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with visual measurement systems, particularly Keyence, and familiarity with comparators, calipers, micrometers, and pin gages.
- Knowledge of calibration processes and experience with ISO auditing practices.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Preferred qualifications include certification in quality control or a related field, as well as experience in CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming.
