Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Catholic Priest to serve as a Spiritual Leader and provide spiritual care to our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading worship services, providing pastoral care, and promoting spiritual growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Worship Services: Conduct Roman Catholic Mass, Sacramental preparation, and other worship services to promote spiritual growth and development.
  • Provide Pastoral Care: Offer spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to individuals and groups, and provide referrals to other members of the community as needed.
  • Develop and Implement Spiritual Programs: Create and implement programs to promote spiritual growth and development, including religious education and spiritual formation programs.
  • Collaborate with Other Staff: Work closely with other members of the Ladgov Corporation team to ensure seamless delivery of spiritual care services.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Keep accurate records and reports of worship services, pastoral care, and other spiritual activities.
Requirements
  • Ordination as a Roman Catholic Priest: Must be ordained as a Roman Catholic priest and possess a strong understanding of Catholic theology and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals and groups.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Fluency in English: Be fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Theology or Related Field: Possess a master's degree in theology or a related field.
  • Experience in Spiritual Care: Have experience in spiritual care and pastoral ministry.
  • Knowledge of Navy Organization: Have a working understanding of Navy organization and the pluralistic ministry requirements that affect the use of chapel facilities and staff.
