Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a qualified Catholic Priest to serve as a Spiritual Leader and provide pastoral care to our community. The ideal candidate will be a ordained Roman Catholic priest with a strong understanding of Navy organization and pluralistic ministry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual guidance and support to Ladgov Corporation personnel and their families.
  • Conduct Roman Catholic worship services, sacramental ministrations, and religious education programs.
  • Develop and implement spiritual formation programs to promote the spiritual growth of Ladgov Corporation personnel.
  • Collaborate with other chaplains and spiritual leaders to provide comprehensive spiritual care.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to spiritual care, including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local Catholic communities and organizations to support the spiritual needs of Ladgov Corporation personnel.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to personnel on spiritual matters, including marriage preparation, baptismal preparation, and personal and family matters.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and other corporate events to promote spiritual awareness and well-being.
  • Maintain current credentials and comply with Ladgov Corporation policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Ordained Roman Catholic priest with a strong understanding of Navy organization and pluralistic ministry requirements.
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook or equivalent software and desktop computer hardware.
  • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work with some walking, standing, carrying of light items, and cleaning of immediate work area.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Maintain ministerial faculties and liaison with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) is preferred.
