Job Summary

Lactalis USA is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our Fresh Mozzarella Production team in Nampa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising employees, coordinating work, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of production team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct adjustments to packaging processes to ensure conformance with standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, including production volume, yields, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Schedule staff and estimate worker hour requirements to complete daily job assignments.
  • Review and approve time records of staff assigned to the team.
  • Work with all departments to ensure adherence to GMP, GSP, FSSC practices, and QC policies and procedures.
  • Collect and provide data necessary for budget creation and implementation.
  • Support and maintain a safe and positive work environment, analyzing and resolving work and employee issues through problem resolution.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years supervisory or lead person experience required; experience in the food industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Food Safety, FDA, and USDA regulations.
  • Understanding of ISO and certifications within the food industry (FSSC, ISO).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and manufacturing operating systems.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
